The Housemates took it upon themselves to proudly show off where in Nigeria they are from
After
being given a stern talking to by Biggie and having their cooking
privileges taken away, the Housemates needed a "pick me up" to improve
the mood in the House. They took it upon themselves to do an imprompty
traditional fashion parade so that each Housemate could showcase their outfits and explain where were from in Nigeria, also talking about their traditional foods and what made them unique.
The colourful outfits took on new meaning as each
Housemate explained the meaning behind each outfit and accessory. Gifty
explained that her whip was made of real horse hair and it signified
that she was of royal blood.
With Nigeria being such a diverse country, Biggie was treated to
beautiful traditional outfits with each Housemate wearing their clothing
with pride. The viewers learned about the Hausa tribe from Bally who
wore his Babariga and Sokoto outfit brimming with fierce pride.
With
ThinTallTony treated us to the traditional Calabar "zig-zag" dance, the
Etigi. Miyonse looked sharp in his Agbada and Sokoto attire from his
hometown of Badagry while Kemen strutted his stuff in his improvised
Ibom outfit from Akwa.
Not to be outdone, the ladies dazzled us in their beautiful and colourful outfits with Edo native, TBoss looking gorgeous in her Warri coral dress and headgear. Bisola
was rather fetching in her Ogun traditional dress called Buba and Iro.
Uriel showed off the looks from Ibibio and Soma looked suave in his
outfit from his trib of Ibo. Marvis looked like a model in her
traditional Rivers People outfit.
This seemed to unite the Housemates as they all stood together hand in
hand and proclaimed "One love, one Nigeria." Will this help the
Housemates to make up their minds about who to nominate for possible
eviction? Tune in tomorrow to find out.
