A lobbyist Task Presentation

Today’s Task Presentation had the Housemates tap into their oratory skills in a bid to convince Biggie to let them back into the House.

Keeping to the Extreme Theme for the week, Big Brother informed the Housemates that they had been taking the generosity of the BBNaija House for granted, and this mood was mirrored much earlier today when Biggie had the entire Housemates move into the garden and the ninjas locked them out of the House.

Tonight’s Task Presentation, though seemingly one of the easiest Task Presentations the Housemates had done so far had a lot riding on how they perform. The Housemates were given time and writing materials to prepare a three minute speech lobbying for Big Brother to let them back into the House. From the minute they walked into the Arena, Biggie instructed the Head of House to select the order in which the Housemates would present their pleas to Biggie.

First up was Marvis who admonished how much she had grown as an individual since she walked into the BBNaija House.

Bisola based her plea on enjoying the basic amenities of life, while pushing the health hazards that could come up from spending the night outdoors.

Bally pleaded that though luxuries do not define who they are as there are a lot of homeless people out there but also went with the health hazards of a night outdoors.

Efe admitted that though he came from a place of lack, he was initially grateful for all the benefits Biggie had made available to them in the House; and apologized profusely for being the waning gratitude himself and the other Housemates displayed daily.

TBoss agreed that the time in the garden had had helped the Housemates reflect on their individual journeys and lives since they have been outside, but pleaded with Biggie to let them back inside due to the threats of mosquito's outside.

Debie-Rise brought up the summation of all their pleas by singing Biggie’s praises for the elegance and care Biggie had shown them in the BBNaija House. But she pleaded that being stuck outside might stifle their creativity levels which was her reasons for pleading that Biggie let them all back inside.

With all their pleas and supplications done, Biggie criticized the Housemates’ pleas as it was deemed as a bit shallow. Biggie also reminded them that this was Extreme Week and spending a night out under the stars shouldn’t be too much of an ask from them. Biggie didn’t seem too impressed as the results of their Wager would only be announced tomorrow. In the meantime, they were to return to their positions in the garden; with Biggie ending the remarks by saying “The House may or may not be open”.

It seems the Housemates have been thrown into survival mode and must all work in tandem to survive tonight’s outdoor experience. Do you think Biggie has been too lenient with the extremeness of today’s activities to the Housemates, or would you like to see Biggie crank it up a bit more? Feel free to post your comments and remarks below and on our social media pages.

Voting lines are now open with TBoss, Debie-Rise, Bally and Marvis are up for Eviction this Sunday Night at 7pm WAT on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29 where at least one Housemate will be Evicted.
