Bassey got a hero's welcome in Calabar and at the forefront of it all was Senator Florence Ita Giwa.
The ex-Big Brother Naija housemate returned to the state on Friday, April 22, 2017, to a grand reception in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
A video footage of the reception shows Bassey hugging the Senator as she welcomed him back into the state.
Bassey was the 8th housemate to be evicted from the recently concluded Big Brother Naija house.
