The Housemates expected to have to navigate through a lot of twists and turns in their journey in the BBNaija House but we don’t think they anticipated the grueling and sometimes mentally draining Tasks they would have to endure in the Arena in a bid to gain some headway in their BBNaija journey, as well as unlock Biggie’s kind and gratifying rewards for their personal pleasure.
The first Friday night games kicked off with the Housemates having spent less than a week in the House and at the end of the first games, a slender warrior from warri was crowned, his name is Efe aka Captain Nipples.
The next Friday saw a new warrior take the podium. After a dismal showing just seven days before Bisola overcame her fears and injuries to excel in the Arena to be crowned the first female winner in the Payporte Arena.
At the third Friday night games, we witness the rising of a new star, albeit a thin tall one. ThinTallTony seemed buoyed by a new lease on life and blitzed to the podium, getting his hands raised as the new winner in the Arena.
They say victory gives a satisfactory pleasure second to none, and this seemed to be the buzz TTT needed as he powered to victory again in the Arena for the second week in a row.
If the saying that good things come in threes, then this script seemed written for the thin tall one as he attempted to become the first Housemate to bag three wins in the Arena. A slight fumble on the finish line though saw his victory dance cut short as the win was taken from him and handed to Kemen.
The fantastic rewards and benefits accrued from winning in the Arena seemed too much to resist and up stepped the resident shy muscle man power his way to the podium. Bassey was crowned the winner in the Arena as he aimed to put his stamp on the Arena proceedings.
Good things dey sweet, and it would seem Bassey had taken up the gauntlet to outdo TTT. He powered his way to the podium for the second week running, tying TTT with for two straight wins in the Payporte Arena games.
Bassey seemed destined to break TTT’s grapple--hold and become the first Housemate to bag a treble of wins in the Arena, but the ThinTall one had other ideas, edging Bassey to the podium, and in so doing, becoming the first Housemate to bag a hat trick of wins in the Arena.
Day 61 in the Payporte Arena saw a reawakened Bassey who pulled no punches as he put on his game face, aligned all his chakra to power himself to the podium again for his third win, tying TTT again for the most wins in the Friday night games.
The penultimate Friday Night Games saw the rebirth of the supremacy of Warri's favorite son Efe. it would seem the extreme week the Housemates have endured may have reawakened his fighting spirit as he set an unassailable time of 2:30seconds to guarantee his second win in the Arena.
With just one more Arena Games left in the BBNaija House, we officially have two Housemates, TTT and Bassey sharing the top spot with the most wins in the Payporte sponsored Arena games. Taking into consideration the remaining Housemates in the BBNaija House, it may be humanly impossible for any of them to usurp these two titans from their high perch, unless Captain Nipples has other ideas. We may have to share the crown and title of the “King of Friday Night” three ways between the Thin Tall one, Captain Nipples and the shy muscle man; or leave it as a two-way split between TTT and Bassey.
